Checking Your Broker’s Record
It is always advisable to know the background of the professional to whom you entrust the sale, purchase, or rental of a property before embarking on the process.
The OACIQ provides several tools in its Register of License Holders to help you verify a real estate broker’s record. You can therefore:
- ensure that they hold a valid license;
- note that license holders are required to complete a certain number of continuing education units every two years, in accordance with the current Continuing Education Program.
